Isn't it so very unique? I so wanted to ask about this pair of shoes but the shy part of me says "what for?"

Great Falls of the Potomac River
The Great Falls area, I think, is the most spectacular part of the Potomac River. The river plunges about 60 feet in less than a mile, then flows through a deep gorge (Mather Gorge). While both the Virginia & Maryland sides offer great views of the Great Falls, I think, the Maryland side offers a more spectacular & panoramic views of the Great Falls.
If you are the outdoor-type of person then this place is definitely worth checking out. If you love to walk but not an avid hiker you'll still love this place; if you love the calming effect of water, then Great Falls is your therapeutic place. Also, there are benches to sit on, lots of picnic tables, a small place that serves hot dogs, chips, sodas is also available. $5 per car to get into the park.
Some photos I took of the Great Falls.

All cakes, all the time
When I saw these beautifully decorated, mouth-watering wedding cakes on display in Westminster, Maryland, few weeks ago, I remember the cake at a wedding reception I attended sometime in 2011. I wanted to swipe my finger on that $2,000-dollar-wedding cake & taste how good it was.

Little Seneca Lake
This is the Little Seneca Lake, located on Black Hill Regional Park, in Clarksburg, Maryland. There are lots of activities you can do in and around the lake, whether you're in the park for family get together, meeting someone or just here for a walk, you can experience Little Lake Seneca by renting a canoe, kayak or rowboat or hop into the pontoon boat for a guided tour of the lake and enjoy the wildlife that calls this lake their home.
I come here mostly in the evenings to relax & I have taken countless photographs in and around the lake, including sunsets.
These photos were taken on different days & times.
